Common questions

Pricing FAQ

What is the difference between a provider and a linked account?
A provider is a connected cloud or AI service — AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Vercel, OpenAI, Anthropic, GitHub, etc. A linked account is an individual account inside a provider: one AWS account, one Azure subscription, or one GCP project. Each plan includes an account allowance (3 on Starter, 10 on Team, 25 on Business). On Team and Business, additional accounts are $10/month each; Enterprise includes unlimited accounts at a negotiated volume rate.
How does pricing scale as I add accounts?
Simple and predictable: a fixed monthly base plus a flat $10/month per linked account beyond your allowance — never a percentage of your cloud bill. Starter is capped at 3 accounts; Team includes 10 and Business includes 25, with extras at $10/month each. Running dozens of accounts? Enterprise gives you unlimited accounts at a negotiated volume rate — just get in touch.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. We prorate the difference.
What happens when the trial ends?
After 14 days you'll need to add a payment method to continue. Without one, you'll be downgraded to Starter limits. Your data is retained for 30 days.
How quickly can I see my costs?
Immediately. When you connect a provider, StackSpend loads up to 90 days of historical data automatically. Trends, anomalies, and forecasts are available within minutes.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing saves 20% and is available at checkout or from your billing settings. Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year.
